If you have a 64-bit operating system on your computer, it doesn’t mean you can use only 64-bit computer software. Your operating system still has the ability to run 32-bit programs through “emulation”–essentially, your computer will trick the program into thinking its running a 32-bit operating system. Because of this, installing a 32-bit program on a 64-bit operating system is as simple as installing any regular computer program.
